Castlefield

Castlefield

A wonderful paradox in the heart of Manchester, Castlefield is one of the liveliest and most tranquil parts of Manchester at the same time. Thanks to its designation in 1982 as the UK’s first Urban Heritage Park, which ensured that it's canals and cobbles were kept to create a largely pedestrian area of industrial beauty. It's canal side bars provide the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere as the buzz of trams and life chatter away all around this tranquil spot.
